oberlin begins
interesting things from today:
1. watched Jurassic Park with john-bohn. quite enjoyable.
2. chatted with sam for a bit. he's going to be living in steph's hometown of lafayette for about 3 months this fall.

3. apparently astronomy has a bunch of math. too bad.
4. stephanie is a wonderful writer. i read through the bio she had to do for class, and it was gloriously factual and irreverent.
5. i read through the cover letters that i sent out for this past summer's jobs. there is almost none of my personal voice in them. it's really disappointing, but i hope to learn to incorporate my voice into professional writing.
6. i bought the book for my chair class. this is going to be sweet.
7. studio party caused me great anxiety, finding out that almost no one remembers the folks i remember.
