Occasional bursts of information.

I miss the lies people convey to kids who are still young and hopeful, such as:
Marriage is hard, but happy.
One should lose weight in a healthy manner.
It seems as of late, these two statements are less and less supported by some of the adults in my life.
It's disappointing.
"When you are like us, you get to be excited about any weight loss -- regardless of how you lose the weight"
So weight lost from not eating? Awesome.
Weight lost from being ill for long periods of time? Fantastic.
This is a bunch of crap.
Also: What the hell is marriage all about, anyway?
Doesn't seem to make much sense at all these days.

On a lighter note: Considering going to Drag Ball as a dashing young Frenchman.
How awesome would that be?
